Refund Policy & Withdrawal Notice

Effective: 2026-05-13 · Compliant with Art. 17 of the Korean E-Commerce Act

1. Right of Withdrawal (E-Commerce Act Art. 17 (1))

After a paid purchase, you may withdraw from the contract in any of the following cases.

  1. Within 7 days of payment, if you have not started using the content.
  2. Within 7 days of payment, if you have started using the content but your usage has not exceeded the free-trial allowance.
  3. If the service differs from what was displayed or advertised, or was not performed as contracted — within 3 months of payment or the date you learned the fact, and within 30 days of the date you learned or could have learned it.

2. Limitations on Withdrawal (E-Commerce Act Art. 17 (2))

Withdrawal may be limited in the following cases; the Company gives separate notice of this on the relevant checkout screen.

  1. The content was lost or damaged for reasons attributable to the user.
  2. The content's value has substantially decreased due to the user's use or partial consumption (e.g., a downloadable composite image was downloaded, or an allowance was consumed).
  3. The content's value has substantially decreased over time, making resale impractical.
  4. The packaging of reproducible content was damaged.

3. How to Withdraw

  1. Send withdrawal requests via the link in your payment receipt email or to support@tory.my.
  2. The date you express your intent to withdraw is recognized as the withdrawal date.
  3. The Company confirms withdrawal requests within 3 business days and guides you through the process.

4. Refund Timing and Method

  1. After a withdrawal is approved, the refund is issued to your payment method within 3 business days via the payment processor (Paddle.com Market Ltd.).
  2. For credit-card payments, the actual refund may take an additional 7–14 days depending on the card issuer.
  3. The payment processor's fee (prorated where a discounted amount was paid) may be deducted from the refund.

5. Mid-Term Cancellation

If a subscriber cancels after the 7-day withdrawal window, no refund is issued for the remaining period; auto-renewal stops at the next renewal date. Paid features remain available until just before the renewal date.

6. Refunds Due to Company Fault

If a service failure attributable to the Company occurs (continuous downtime of 24 hours or more, failure to provide a paid feature, etc.), a refund is issued to your payment method within 7 business days. For partial failures, a prorated amount corresponding to the failure period is refunded.

7. Mobile Apps and Refunds

Payments for the service are offered only on the website (tory.my); the mobile app does not offer payments, refunds, or plan changes. All refund requests are handled through the website channels where the payment was made.

8. Dispute Resolution

Refund disputes are resolved by agreement between the Company and the user as a matter of principle; failing agreement, you may apply for mediation with the Korea Consumer Agency or bring the matter before the competent court.
